Installation

Before the septic system can be installed, the certified plan and application must be filed with the health department. The permit then must be issued, paid for, and obtained from the town offices. After this is all done, DIG SAFE must be called to mark out all utilities on the property.

The old system must be pumped and filled in or removed. The piping from the house must be located and exposed. The new septic tank must be installed and piped back into the house quickly limiting inconvenience (1/2 hour average). After the tank is installed and piped in the distribution box and leach facility will be installed. Once the system is fully installed with risers and inspection ports, it must be inspected by a health agent and one of our engineers.

To assure our ability to locate the new system's components after they are buried, an as-built card is drawn. The as-built card is a diagram showing where your new septic system is relative to your house. Once the septic is filled back in, your yard will be graded back to original condition. The most common finish we use is screened loam that is spread, raked and seeded.

We also work very closely with a landscaping company that will replace disturbed plants, patios, irrigation, walkways, driveways, etc.
